End Plastic Pollution
Plastic pollution is one of the highlighted environmental problems on this year’s Earth Day celebration.
Here’s how bad it is: almost 400 million tons of plastic are produced each year, and approximately 50% of those end up as single-use plastics (plastic straws, bottles, cups, and cutleries, shopping bags, food containers, and many more). Over 10 million tons of plastic eventually ended up in the oceans, further damaging the ecosystem.
